Come on, was he really that bad?
Yesterday was a busy and eventful day in the life of George Hook.
First of all, he provided analysis on two live Six Nations games in the RTE studio and had Ronan O’Gara asking him to pull down his pants on live television.
Then, he remained on our screens last night in an appearance alongside old muckers Brent Pope and Tom McGurk on the Saturday Night Show.
George was his typical up front self in conversation with Brendan O’Connor, chatting about everything from religion to his mother and, of course, rugby.
As usual, George divided opinion and while some people were impressed by his performance, others didn’t think too much of it and weren’t slow to let him know on Twitter.
George responded by retweeting quite a lot of the abuse, ensuring that some of the more hurtful comments were seen by his 130,000 or so followers and not just himself.
ah @ghook you could of changed your shirt and tie from the 6 nations coverage by the time you came onto that saturday night show garbage
