Following on from the welcome news that Netflix may be planning a global streaming service with no region restrictions (read more on that here), here’s a very handy map which shows all the countries where the online service is currently available.
Unrestricted global Netflix seems to be the company’s goal for the future but, for now, if you’re heading abroad any time soon, forget about seeing the sites or “experiencing life.”
All that stuff is overrated.
Instead, lock yourself in your hotel room and binge yourself silly by watching a marathon of SpongeBob Squarepants episodes. Trust us, that’s tourist time well spent.
According to the official Netflix site, “members with a streaming-only plan are able to watch instantly through the Netflix service from within the regions listed below. The movies and TV shows that are available to stream may vary by location, and will change from time to time.”
