The people have spoken, but the industry has ignored the Always Sunny crew.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia won big at the People’s Choice Awards as they were awarded the Favourite Cable TV Comedy… yet the lads were nowhere to be seen.
Even though Sunny is one of the most popular shows among fans at the moment, and growing by each series, it seems like the powers-that-be aren’t all too bothered about commemorating their success.
That is according to one of the stars and head writers Rob McElhenney – who plays Mac in the hit series – as he tweeted this post after the awards show.
I guess we won a @peopleschoice award tonight. No one told us and we weren’t invited. What a strange and wonderful decade this has been.

Luckily, people responded to the comment in a befitting manner.
We were also interested to see that Jimmy Fallon picked up the Favourite Late Night Talk Show Host, beating off competition from Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O’Brien, Stephen Colbert and James Corden.
