We wonder if she’ll wear it to the Oscars?
Saoirse Ronan may be among the favourites to pick up an Academy Award for her role in Brooklyn, but she’s had a lot of difficulty trying to get people to pronounce her name properly.
Ryan Gosling tried to intervene a couple of months ago, but the 21-year-old had to take matters into her own hands on The Ellen Degeneres Show. She wore a sandwich board.
We’re still not convinced. While we’re reluctant to tell her how to pronouce her own name, we would have thought Seer-Sha was closer to the mark.
It doesn’t really matter, does it? Let’s just hope Shooshie Rowan wins that Oscar.
