The scariest 100 minutes of 2022 & 10 more movies and shows to watch this weekend

Not one, not two… but SEVEN new spooky shows and movies to check out for Halloween weekend!

While there are a lot of new scary things to watch this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, don’t worry if you don’t like the horror, because there are some rom-coms, dark comedies and war epics also on the new arrivals menu!

Here are the movies which will all be available on the big screens around Ireland from Friday, 28 October.

BROS

Billy Eichner writes, produces and stars in this romantic comedy about a long-term single gay man who may have just found the love of his life… despite not actually wanting a relationship at all. From the director of I Love You Man and Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

BARBARIAN

Already one of the most-talked-about horror movies of recent years. A young woman (Georgina Campbell) discovers that the rental home she’s booked for the weekend is double booked with another tenant (Bill Skarsgård), which begins her nightmarish journey into terror.

THE GOOD NURSE

The Emmy-winning adult animation series returns for a new season.

THE DEVIL’S HOUR

Peter Capaldi and Jessica Raine star in this psychological thriller series in which a woman finds her nightmares may somehow be directly linked to the actions of a serial killer.

Award-winner Edward Berger directs this tense drama based on the bestseller by Erich Maria Remarque.
