Some of 2024’s biggest movies can be rented at ridiculously low price for first time

Here’s everything you need to know about how to avail of the offer.

From today (Thursday, 1 August), customers in Ireland can rent or buy blockbuster and new release movies on Prime Video.

And as part of the launch, people will be able to rent certain titles for just 99c until 25th August.

The biggest films you can rent for this low price, many of which were only in cinemas just a few weeks ago, include the following:

  • Ambulance
  • Bad Boys for Life
  • Birds of Prey
  • The Book of Clarence

Meanwhile, other major recent movies also available to rent and buy include Anyone But You, The Bikeriders, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, Horizon, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, Kung Fu Panda 4, Napoleon, Oppenheimer, The Strangers: Chapter 1 and Tarot.

“Customers are able to purchase or rent a selection of titles and Pay-Per-View events from the Prime Video catalogue, without needing an Amazon Prime or Prime Video membership,” Prime Video said in a statement.

“The launch is an addition to the large selection of popular and exclusive movies and TV shows available to stream on Prime Video at no extra cost to a Prime membership, including Amazon Original series and movies like Saltburn, The Boys, Fallout, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, Clarkson’s Farm, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and The Idea of You.”
