Cruel Summer Season 2 – Fri 11 Aug
Set in 1999 and 2000, this mystery thriller series focuses on three new teenagers and their intense bond, which results in one of them being murdered. The first season scored 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, so the second season could be well worth investigating, too.
Red, White & Royal Blue – Fri 11 Aug
Based on the hit novel, this romantic comedy tells the story of a the burgeoning relationship between a British prince and the son of the US President. Uma Thurman and Stephen Fry feature in the impressive supporting cast.
Shelter – Fri 18 Aug
Based on the young adult novel by Harlan Coben (who had some great success on recent Netflix adaptations The Stranger and Stay Close), it tells the story of a teenage boy who is investigating the sudden disappearance of his new girlfriend.
Greatest Days – Fri 25 Aug
Our very own Aisling Bea stars in this musical based on the hit Take That show of the same name. Just try not to sing along while its on. JUST TRY!
Women Talking – Mon 28 Aug
Released in cinemas in February this year, this powerful drama with an incredible cast – Rooney Mara, Claire Foy, Jessie Buckley, Judith Ivey, Ben Whishaw, Frances McDormand – went on to be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars.
