There’s no denying that Game of Thrones has grown to become a global phenomenon.
Millions of fans around the world know each character intimately.
But you’ll be surprised to know that the characters (or, at least their actors) exist outside of Westeros in the real world. In other news, the grass is green and the Stark’s will suffer.
Fans are still trying to get over the fact that Lord Varys actually has a full head of hair and that ‘The Waif‘ looks noticeably different from her character in the show. Yes, we know that makeup is a wonderful thing.

Bearing this in mind, we still got a jolt after seeing that one of Game of Thrones’ most prominent characters has gone and got herself new hair style.

Well she did….and people reacted accordingly.
Sophie Turner, who we last saw helping Jon Snow liberate Winterfell and The North from the clutches of Ramsay Bolton, is now a blonde.
We’re not sure if she’s trying to emulate a certain dragon-wielding Targaryen or if she wanted just wanted the latest Lannister look, but she looks very different to her character in the show.

She doesn’t even give fans a reason why, simply commenting ‘I did a thing’ which got her 328,000 Instagram likes for the trouble.
We don’t know if it’s Game of Thrones related, or if she’s got a new film role that requires her to be blonde. Regardless of the reason, it has people in the Twitter realm talking.
