Scooby Doo is coming back to the big screen

Good news for fans.

Warner Brothers have finally confirmed that there is going to be a another animated Scooby Doo movie is going to be made and released for 2018.

The movie is based on the original cartoon which was developed by Hanna Barbera Productions and starred the voice talent of Don Messick.

Warner Bros president of creative development and worldwide production Greg Silverman said “Like countless fans, I have always loved the Hanna-Barbera cast of characters. As one of their most famous brand ambassadors, Scooby-Doo will take the lead in reintroducing this pantheon of enduringly popular animated stars on a grand scale with an exciting new movie.”

The movie is to be directed by Tony Cervone who also directed Space Jam and Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated.

The script is by Matt Lieberman and Charles Roven and Richard Suckle are working on the film as producers.
