Scorsese goes back into TV with 70s rock’n’roll drama starring Bobby Cannavale

With Boardwalk Empire set to finish up after the next series, Martin Scorsese has his new project in mind.

The as-yet-unnamed new HBO drama will feature the brilliantly charismatic Bobby Cannavale as the head of a record company in the 197os, with Olivia Wilde and Juno Temple just two other names linked with the project.

Max Casella, who played Benny in The Sopranos, and the Hunger Games Jack ‘son of Dennis’ Quaid are two other names linked with the show.

Scorsese has explored the world of music before.
