Season 2 of the wonderful Killing Eve will be released in April

Paul Moore

If you haven’t watch it yet, you really should.

At present, HBO is dominating the attention of TV lovers with True Detective and Game of Thrones set to be released in the early stages of 2019 and you would be forgiven for ‘slightly’ ignoring all of the other shows airing for the first time or returning to the screen.

Thankfully, we’ve already marked some of the new titles that you really should keep an eye on, but in terms of the returning shows, we’re absolutely pumped for Season 2 of Killing Eve because Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s spy drama was one of – if not THE – best shows of 2018.

Stylish as hell and boasting a plot that kept you gripped, the show featured Jodie Comer as a trained assassin and Sandra Oh as a low-level MI-5 operative trying to track her down.

After receiving two Emmy nominations and the same amount of Golden Globe nods, the show has been a huge success with critics and audiences alike.

RTÉ aired Killing Eve in Ireland and we’ve been treated to the first teaser for the next season. We also know that the show will return on 7 April in the US.

At present, no date has been set for an Irish broadcast but we’d be amazed if it’s not being shown on BBC or RTÉ.

The chase is on.
