Great news because Shaggy will be playing a free gig in Dublin tonight

Paul Moore

Mr. Boombastic is in the capital.

Whether you’re living in Dublin, Cork or Jamaica, it’s time to cancel any plans that you have tonight because Shaggy will be appearing at Toner’s pub in Dublin from 6pm tonight.

Yes, that’s right, Mr. Lova, Lova in front of an Irish audience and it’s free in.

The gig is part of Orchard Thieves’ Bold Hour and the organisers say he’ll  “be on hand to help claim back lost time and, if feeling generous, might even get on the mic.”

Here’s hoping.

We’re confident that if Mr. Boombastic goes of in Toner’s it’ll be a gig that goes down in the annals of Irish music history.

If you’re caught dancing on the counter then you already know the answer. It wasn’t me.

The Bold Hour is also coming to Cork, where Reardens host The Rubberbandits, where they’ll raise the roof with a performance and Galway, where Spencer Matthews will meet and greet fans at The Front Door.
