Buster the boxer isn’t beloved by all.
The latest John Lewis attempt at manipulating your emotions in an effort to get you to spend this Christmas advert has been released and as always, it has its fans and detractors.
Each to their own, and while some people have argued that its timing is perfect, especially considering the fact that some people are depressed at Trump’s presidential victory in the election, there’s also a case to be made by the Stop Funding Hate campaign.
They’ve decided to ‘brand jam’ the latest John Lewis advert because the retailer is just one of the many companies that buy advertising in newspapers that are renowned for spreading fear, racism, hatred, hostility, xenophobia and jingoistic views.
Capitalism, eh?
Take a look.
