TUBRIDY VS NORTON: The line-ups for The Late Late Show and Graham Norton are here

Carl Kinsella

The line-ups are in…

Summer is here (for this week at least), and with that in mind our chat-show hosts need to pull out all the stops to keep us in front of the box this evening.

The line-ups for tonight’s Late Late Show and Graham Norton Show have been revealed and we can think of a few reasons why they might be worth watching.

Starting with Mr. Tubridy’s guests…

The Late Late Show

Alan Kelly

The Labour Party’s Deputy Leader Alan Kelly will be on The Late Late Show this evening in the wake of Joan Burton’s decision to step down as leader of the party. Many suspect that Kelly is likely to replace Burton, and we imagine Tubridy will be asking all about his intentions.

Brendan O’Connor

The last time Brendan O’Connor and Ryan Tubridy got together, Tubs played the role of interviewee – and it was one of the most horrifically awkward segments in the history of Irish radio. For the sake of our own entertainment, we hope that the exact same thing happens tonight.

Jason Byrne

If Tubs and Brendan Round 2 fails to throw up any awkward gems then the comedic relief will be provided by Jason Byrne.

The Undertones & The High Kings

The music on tonight’s Late Late is guaranteed to be of  high quality with The Undertones to perform their classic hit Teenage Kicks, as well as Irish folk band The High Kings.

Graham Norton

The stars are out in a big way over on BBC One tonight as Graham’s lovely couch plays host to Johnny Depp, who’ll surely be addressing that weird dog apology video, as well as fan favourite and JOE’s future-wife Jennifer Lawrence.

Comedian Jack Whitehall will be on the show, hopefully to show us what he learned as a Chippendale while stateside – as well as actor James McAvoy.

Music will be provided by will.i.am of Black Eyed Peas fame.
