TWEETS: Two things that you never want to happen on a first date, happened on First Dates

Oh no…

So, another episode has come to an end, and it was all kinds of awkward.

What are the two things you don’t want to happen on your first date with someone?

Well for us, fairly high on that list would be, our card being rejected and the other would be forgetting our date’s name.

Both of these happened tonight… and two couples forgot each other’s names, not just one.

Gerard and Claire had a lovely date, so much so that they agreed to go on a second date. But as we later found out, it was not to be for the pair unfortunately.

But, in the nervousness of their first meeting, Gerard couldn’t quite remember Claire’s name when it came down to it.

But there must have been something in the air in the Gibson Hotel that evening because another pair of daters, Katie and Brianna couldn’t quite remember each others names.

In addition to this, Ronan on his date was unfortunate to have his card declined one day before pay day, but thankfully for him he had a back up card at the ready and all was not lost.

We found this funny, rather than embarrassing as it could happen to anyone we suppose.

But the name thing was a stickler for some people…
