Due to the subject matter and tone of both shows, you wouldn’t think that Breaking Bad and Seinfeld would go together but the combination works very well in this case.
Fans of both shows will know that the two of them are absolutely brilliant but it’s hard to think of anything they have in common given that one is a light-hearted account of the experiences of a comedian and his group of friends and the other is about a chemistry teacher with cancer who turns to the crystal meth business to make some money for his family.
That said, there are certain scenes in Breaking Bad that can be reworked for comedy purposes, including this one where Walt is trying to confront Ted Beneke over his relationship with Walt’s wife.
One thing the shows do have in common is Bryan Cranston, who made a few cameo appearances as Dr. Tim Whatley in Seinfeld before his Breaking Bad days, including the one below where Jerry experiences a rather disturbing trip to the dentist.
