Fashion is a funny thing these days and sometimes we have a bit of trouble figuring out what is what because hipsters have confused us. New clothes are designed to look old because the older your clothes look the better because that means they’re vintage and vintage is a good thing. We think.
Never mind us though, you know who has all the info about fashion? People who go to New York Fashion Week, that’s who. These people are aware of all the trends, what’s hot and what’s not. Basically, they’re in the know.
US chat show host Jimmy Kimmel wanted to test exactly how in the know the NYFW attendees really were by playing a game with them, the game of telling lies. Similar to his Coachella prank, Kimmel sent a reporter to New York to ask the fashionistas if they knew a number of fake up-and-coming designers.
These people couldn’t possibly admit they didn’t know them, the result is pretty funny…
