It’s time to get a sneak preview of what it means to be a ‘Sensate’ in the official trailer and first look images from the new Netflix original series Sense8.
Imagine if The Matrix, Lost and Heroes all got into TV bed together to make sweet TV love to each other in order to have a little TV baby.
The end product may look something like this first teaser trailer.
That probably comes as no surprise as Sense8 comes from the creative minds of The Wachowskis, stars a number of familiar faces that Lost fans will recognise (Naveen Andrews and Doona Bae), and concerns a group of seemingly ordinary human beings, but who actually have extraordinary powers.
Here’s the official synopsis from the streaming giants…
“Sense8 is a gripping story of eight people from around the world whose lives are suddenly and inexplicably connected in a fight for their own survival.”
All 12 episodes of the global dramatic thriller will launch on Friday, June 5 only on Netflix in all Netflix territories around the world. The series will also be available in 4K.
And no, you don’t have to have seen the first seven Sense shows… mainly because they don’t exist and that’s a crap joke on our part. Sorry.
