Depicting the lives of Gardai in rural parts of Ireland has been done in the past but it’s always been interesting, whether it’s Crimebusters in D’Unbelievables or the Sergeant in Father Ted who uses a police helicopter to investigate the Old Grey Whistle Theft.
Now, it’s been revisited once again in Garda, a mockumentary style comedy drama following the lives of two country Gardai in rural Ireland.
Garda is made by the lads at GiddyupSkits, who you’ll probably remember from a previous trailer featuring Johnny Logan and also from a series of Anchorman-style GAA fights during the height of Championship season last year.
We like what we see from the trailer in any case and will be tuning into see how it fares out.
