That’s cold Daithi, real cold.
It’s not for everyone’s tastes, but year after year, the Rose of Tralee rarely fails to deliver entertainment and it certainly lived up to expectations last night.
Meath Rose Elysha Brennan was a deserving winner, Daniel O’Donnell wowed the ladies and Aston Villa midfielder Leandro Bacuna even got a mention (you heard us).
It wouldn’t be the Rose of Tralee if there wasn’t at least a little awkwardness and poor Galway Rose Olga Lee had to deal with being given the cold shoulder by the normally affable host Daithi Ó’Sé.
After a little chinwag with Daithi, Olga obviously felt that the moment called for a kiss, but Daithi was all business at that stage and had already moved on, with poor Olga left in the lurch in front of a national audience as a result (Click on full below screen to get a better picture of proceedings).
That moment when Daithí O'Shea denies ya the shift hahaha
