Whenever JOE overhears people that try to simplify the unique appeal of the superb Game of Thrones by using its violence as the main selling point, we often look at them like they know nothing.
J.R.R Tolkien, The War of The Roses, the Roman Empire, medieval feudalism, historical fiction, Shakespearean tragedy and world religion all contribute to the shows narrative but yes, but there will be blood, lots of it.
The show has raised the bar in terms of on-screen violence and we can’t wait to see what Season 5 has in store for us.
There was a grand total of 169 deaths in the most recent season, The Watchers on The Wall episode probably accounted for at least 130 of them, and they’re all here in this class mashup.
