This JOE is actually struggling to summarise just how amazing and hilarious every single member of the clergy is in the superb Father Ted.
All of our readers will know that JOE believes that Graham Linehan and Arthur Matthews’ masterpiece is so good that it’s almost like it was written by God himself.
Then again Father Jack doesn’t even believe in God so we’ll just leave that point and move on.
The sheer mention of Fathers Dougal McGuire, Liam Deliverance, Fintan Stack, Ted Crilly, Austin Purcell, Romeo Sensini, Noel Furlong, Jack Hackett, Larry Duff and many more instantly makes us laugh. Sure we’ve even ranked them.
All this without even mentioning the bishops and nuns, however, as Dougal would say “sure they were only nuns”.
JOE has had endless fun when it comes to writing stories about the greatest comedy of all-time but our friends at Coponfilms have made a short video featuring every single member of the cloth.
This is just superb.
