Flight sees Denzel Washington take up the role of drink and drug addicted pilot Captain Whip Whitaker. When his plane starts to crash he somehow manages to pull it out of a spin and saves hundreds of lives in the process. Sounds like a hero right?
Not really, because Whip was drinking before the flight and toxicology results show that he was under the influence. Now Whip must deal with his addictions and a courtcase. The strange thing is, there is no other pilot who could land the plane safely in a simulation of the same scenario…
And if one exclusive clip wasn’t enought for you, here’s another below – Whip gets talking to a cancer patient in the hospital stairway. Not quite as exciting as a plane crashing, but it’s an interesting insight to the movie.
