*JOE runs off to find emergency glass of water to throw at TV*
Poor Tulsen Tollett.
The superbly-named friend of JOE had a bulletin to forget recently after he unfortunately (but hilariously) got the mother of all frogs lodged in his throat during his BBC Sport TV broadcast.
The Australian presenter and Galway resident was reporting on a Major League Baseball game when up rocked Kermit the Frog and his entire froggin’ family to set up residence inside the broadcaster’s windpipe. With a potential audience of 100 million viewers looking on, Tollet proceeded to sound just like your 90-smokes-a-day Great-Aunty Bina for the duration of the report.
Ah, Tollett humour, you really can’t beat it…
