If you’re not completely up to date with the Game of Thrones TV series, just stop reading now. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Now that the warning is out of the way, those of you who have watched until the end of season four will know that Tywin Lannister met his maker in rather inglorious fashion in the season finale after getting popped by his son Tyrion while he was sitting on the bog.
Though he could be a ruthless son of a b*tch (in fairness, who in Game of Thrones isn’t?) Tywin was undoubtedly one of the show’s best characters and he’ll be sorely missed by fans of the show when season five arrives. Or will he?
The man who plays Tywin Lannister, the great Charles Dance, was promoting Dracula Untold recently and had the following to say to MTV…
Those of you who have read the books might have an idea of what Dance is talking about, but it hasn’t half heightened our anticipation for season five, which, sadly, we won’t get to see until it arrives on our screens next year, probably around April time.
Much like winter, though, it’s coming, so we’ll just have to wait…
