Halle Berry stars in a new thriller about a serial killer in The Call

Halle Berry is an emergency call centre operator who takes a call from a girl in distress. A man is in her house. When the girl hangs up, Berry calls her back, thus alerting the intruder to her location in the house. When the girl gets murdered while still on the call, Berry blames herself. The killer speaks to Berry and says it’s too late.
Years later, Berry receives another call from a girl abducted in the back of a car boot and realizes it’s the same guy when she hears him speak. Racing against time before the girl is murdered, she must figure out where she is and help save her and stop the killer from murdering again.
Also starring Little Miss Sunshine actress, Abigail Breslin, all grown up as the kidnapped girl. The director, Brad Anderson has worked on TV shows, Fringe, Boardwalk Empire and Christian Bale movie The Machinist. The screenwriter Richard D’Ovidio, also wrote Thir13en Ghosts and Exit Wounds.
Release date for the US is March 15, but no Irish date has been announced yet.
