If you have never seen this show then drop whatever you’re doing and watch it. NOW.
JOE has a theory that there are certain phrases that you will always hear in specific counties across Ireland without fail. “Comeheretome” is quintessentially Dublin, “hi” is most definitely Monaghan, while “mighty” is most certainly the domain of Cork.
It seems that Mac, Dennis, Sweet Dee, Charlie and Frank AKA the class characters from probably the funniest show on TV, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, are fond of saying “GODDAMNIT!” quite a fair bit.
If you’ve never seen IASIP then you’re missing out. Imagine a much ruder, shallower and depraved version of Seinfeld and you’re almost there.
We love watching Mac’s sweet karate moves while he tries to “cultivate mass,” Dennis’ narcissistic and hilarious descent into sexual madness, Charlie’s best attempts at becoming a human rat while stalking the waitress, Dee’s confidence slowly being eroded by the lads, and Frank… well, Frank is just on a whole other level.
It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia is on Netflix and we cannot recommend it highly enough, sure it’s even set in an Irish bar.
WATCH IT GODDAMNIT!
