Matt Lucas wonders what to do with his dead landlord in new comedy Small Apartments.

Every now and then along comes a bizarre comedy with an all-star cast and it just works. While we’ve only seen the trailer for Small Apartments, we like what we see and we want more.
Matt Lucas is Franklin Franklin, an odd man who accidently kills his landlord and then makes plans to run away to Switzerland to play the alphorn. His neighbours include a pot head and a nosy old man, which only help to stress that he doesn’t know what to do with the dead landlord.
With an all-star cast including James Marsden, Johnny Knoxville, Rebel Wilson and Billy Crystal, this Jonas Åkerlund directed comedy is based on Chris Millis’ novel, winner of the 23rd International 3-Day Novel-Writing Contest.
While usually known for his work on music tour dvds and shorts including Prodigy, Madonna, The Rolling Stones and Metallica, Åkerlund shot Small Apartments in just 20 days, while in between shoots on commercials and shorts.
Release date for Ireland has yet to be confirmed, but the US will have it in February.
