Trance is a tension filled thriller by Danny Boyle, starring James McAvoy and Rosario Dawson.

Danny Boyle is back with another intense thriller called Trance. His previous works include Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours and Trainspotting, not to mention the cult hit 28 Days Later. Trance stars James McAvoy (X-Men), Rosario Dawson (Seven Pounds) and Vincent Cassel (Black Swan).
McAvoy plays Simon, an art auctioneer who agrees to help a bunch of thieves steal an expensive painting. When things don’t go to plan, Simon hides the painting and suffers memory loss as to where he has put it. Obviously the thieves are not happy campers and so they indulge in some light fingernail-pulling torture before sending him to a hypnotherapist, Elizabeth (Dawson).
However, all is not as it seems. Is Elizabeth trying to find the painting herself? Watch the red band trailer (more gruesome than regular trailers) to see what is in store.
