Good girls go bad in the new indie thriller Spring Breakers – check out the new trailer

The latest trailer for Spring Breakers shows Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens as bad-ass thieves who get mixed up with wrongsort James Franco while on their Spring holidays from college. This is far from a Disney flick, though – the kind you’d normally see the girls in.
It seems that the pair are desperately trying to vacate their ‘nice girl’ images by instead breaking the law and going a wee bit loose in their bikinis. This is the red-band trailer, which means its got all the saucy, dangerous, NSFW stuff in it.
The girls get arrested for holding up a store trying to fund their holiday. James Franco welcomes them into his world of petty thievery and drug smuggling and soon the girls are in over their heads. All they wanted was a Spring Break they’ll never forget…and they get just that.
Spring Breakers is written and directed by Harmony Korine, who directed Gummo, an indie movie which has reached cult status. Spring Breakers is due for release in late Spring/early Summer in Irish cinemas.
