The hit series returns…
The new season of Ballers, starring The Rock, Andy Garcia and Rob Corddry will air on HBO on July 17.
In case the mere names of those stars isn’t enough, basically the whole series is an NFL version of Entourage, the hugely successful HBO show starring Adrian Grenier and Jeremy Piven.
The Rock stars as retired NFL player Spencer Strasmore who’s taken up the role of financial manager for a number of NFL super stars alongside his business partner Rob Corddry.
Great weather, lots of money and a fair amount of women provide a distraction from the football for the stars that Spencer looks after.
Following on from season one, he’s basically doing his best to keep them all out of trouble and avoid bankruptcy while often getting confused for Vin Diesel.
