Brad Pitt tries to save his family and the world in a new zombie apocalypse movie World War Z – see th TV spot promo here

Check out the new World War Z promo starring Brad Pitt. The Ocean’s 11 actor plays Gerry Lane, a United Nations employee and family man who travels the world in search of a way to stop a zombie apocalypse that is defeating entire armies.
The movie is based on a novel of the same name by Max Brooks. Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B Productions got into a bidding war over the rights to the screenplay with Leonardo DiCaprio’s company Appian Way in 2007.
World War Z is directed by Marc Forster of Quantum of Solace and Finding Neverland fame. The movie had a budget of $125 million and also stars Matthew Fox (Lost) and Mireille Enos (Big Love) as Gerry’s wife. Glasgow was chosen as a filming location to pretend to be Philadelphia… which is a bit weird but there you go.
It definitely looks like a tension filled epic. And who better to save the world than golden boy Brad Pitt. He’s already adopting his way through all the spare kids from around the globe with Angelina Jolie. Fair play to him.
The flick is set to be released on June 21 this year.
