We’re firmly of the opinion that there’s nothing that Dwayne ‘The Rock Johnson’ can’t do here in JOE Towers and he seems set to layeth the acting smackdown in his latest role.
Fans of The Rock will know that he was quite an impressive American football player, he won the ’91 national championship for the Miami Hurricanes, before switching to follow the wrestling steps of his father and grandfather.
It seems that he’s going back to the gridiron though after HBO’s released the teaser for his new half-hour series about current and former pro football players.
The Rock stars as Spencer Strasmore, a retired footballer who’s taking his first tentative steps into a world outside of football.
Imagine all the parties, fast cars, glamour, girls, parties and lifestyle of Entourage but throw in some NFL.
We can’t wait.
