Parody it might be, but we’d imagine KFC would make a killing if they went ahead with the ‘Every F**ing Chicken in This Room’ meal deal.
Have you seen the first episode of Season Four of Game of Thrones yet? If you have, read on. If not, it’s probably best you leave now rather than accusing us of spoiling it for you, even if the spoiler contained in the video above is mild at best and has absolutely no effect on any story arc in Game of Thrones whatsoever.
Anyway, those of you who have seen it – it pulled in the biggest audience for a single episode of a HBO show since the finale of The Sopranos in 2007 – will be aware of the scene in which Sandor Clegane, aka The Hound, picks a fight with a few admittedly dodgy strangers over the fairly small matter of chickens, and the desire of both he and his companion Arya Stark to eat said chickens.
Although a standout scene in the episode, the fight seemed a trifle unnecessary and Jimmy Kimmel, for one, thought that there might be an alternative explanation for its inclusion; a fairly ingenious marketing campaign on behalf of fast-food giant KFC.
$19.99 seems like a fair price to pay for every f**king chicken in the room in your average KFC restaurant; dying, on the other hand, does not, but either way, the parody clip above and the first offering from the new season of the wildly popular show are finger lickin’ good.
