Despite our numerous letters suggesting that they do so, they haven’t called this one 301, instead it’s called 300: Rise of an Empire
After the slow moving political drama devoid of any action that was the last 300, the lads have decided to go for something totally different with 300: The Rise of an Empire.
From the trailer, it looks like the lads will be doing a lot of hard fightin’ without their tops on, but once again Zak Snyder (300, Man of Steel) seems to have produced something pretty epic, with Naom Munro in the director’s chair.
Gerard Butler became a household name after his appearance in the previous one, so Sullivan Stapleton, who plays the lead, will be hoping the same thing happens to him after this.
Like the last one, the lads in this are in pretty decent shape, and we can expect to see a ton of workout videos about how to get the 300 body. We’ve already in that type of shape ourselves of course, we just don’t show it off because we don’t want to embarrass anyone.
It’s going to be in 3D and Imax 3D when it comes out next March.
