JOE thinks that it would take a very talented group of people to make the Antrim landscape even more beautiful but that is exactly what German 3DVFX company Mackevision have done for season 4 of Game of Thrones.
They VFX wizards have added hilltop fortresses, sweeping armies and even mountains to create the wonderful world of Westeros.
The sea on which the boat carrying Arya to Braavos in the season four finale? Conjured. The Red Castle backdrop to The Mountain and Oberyn Martell’s trial-by-combat? Conjured. The armies behind Ramsay Snow and Roose Bolton’s father-son chat? Conjured. Have a look here.
