The Irish version of First Dates has proved both entertaining and popular in its first couple of weeks.
The majority of viewers would never subject themselves to having people spy on their dating experiences, of course, but they’re more than happy to watch others go through it.
There’s been plenty of funny and touching moments and plenty of cringe-worthy ones too and there’s one big one to come in this week’s episode when one of the daters breaks the first rule of a first date: never forget your date’s name.
On another date, meanwhile, neither party can seem to make up their own mind about whether they’ve met ‘the one’…
