First dates are awkward enough… but doing it on TV must be 100 times worse.
First Dates Ireland returns to our screens tonight at 9.30pm as another group of love seeking people take a punt at finding love on our national broadcaster.
The show proved to be a huge hit with viewers who could not help but be captivated by characters like Tony, Mark, and Gareth.
A sneak peek at tonight’s episode has been released by RTÉ, and it shows Paddy and Lauren on their first date together.
Cue nervous laughter, awkward silences and ambiguous questions… which is to be expected of course.
