A fine tribute to the King in the North…
Obviously there will be spoilers in this post.
The last couple of episodes of Game of Thrones were of a spectacular nature, which was down in no small part, to Jon Snow finally realising his true badassness for all to see.
One complaint this particular JOE writer had with Jon Snow is the contrast between the book version of Jon and the TV version of the same character. Often times the TV Jon would leave me frustrated as I felt at times he lacked the hard edge which George R.R. Martin bestows on him as the books advance.*
This season, it felt like the TV Jon came of age and grew into the character George had laid the ground work for in his books.
It was wonderful to see, and when you watch this amazing fan video of him, you’ll realise just how good of a character Jon Snow has become.
