The improved prequel/sequel/time-travel sequel, with Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) going back from a post-apocalyptic future to 1970, in order to stop Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), and both sets of Professor X (Patrick Stewart/James McAvoy) and Magento (Ian McKellan/Michael Fassbender) fighting their own sides of the fight. Richard Gere is the IRA terrorist who is released from jail to help track down Bruce Willis, an assassin for hire who has been paid to take out some of the highest members of American government. Explosions happen.

Mark Wahlberg is the reformed criminal who is forced by a crime boss to do one last big job, or he’ll kill his wife and kid. Kate Beckinsale, Ben Foster and Giovanni Ribisi co-star. Explosions happen.
The Big Short – RTE One – 9.35pm
Ryan Gosling, Steve Carrell, Brad Pitt, Christian Bale, and for one iconic scene, Margot Robbie, star in this comedy-drama about the financial crisis, and how each of them attempts to profit from it, whether or not it causes serious, irreparable damage to those who can’t afford to save themselves.
16 Blocks – 3E – 10.05pm
Bruce Willis is the cop who is told to bring witness Mos Def to the courthouse, just a little over fifteen blocks from the police station. However, every criminal and crooked cop in New York has been tipped off to a bounty on their heads. Explosions happen.
