Gigs are great, aren’t they?
From Taylor Swift to Tool, we enjoy them all.
But they could be better.’How?’ we hear you ask.
This is how…
As soon as a gig sells out, it would be moved to a bigger venue automatically creating more tickets
We could create a sliding scale. When gigs don’t sell many tickets, they’re moved to a smaller venue too.
It’s genius… and we’re completely unsure whether or not it already exists.
You would be able to see everything from the cheap seats
We can’t count the amount of times we’ve been stuck in seats where we couldn’t see the whole stage.
That’s not because we’re really terrible at counting, it’s because it happens all the time.
The support act would be absolutely brilliant
But not as brilliant as the main event, obviously.
VIP access wouldn’t be reserved for celebrities and media
We’re not bitter that Taylor Swift wouldn’t let us back stage… not bitter at all.
There would be way more toilets
Is there anything more annoying than queueing for the loo at a gig?
They would play your favourite song
Even if it’s an obscure b-side. Your tune would always be played and it would be amazing.
The band would ALWAYS play an encore
The merchandise wouldn’t cost the world
And you’d get a free pint with every t-shirt.
You would get to meet the artist after the gig
Yeah, we’re still a little bitter over not getting backstage to meet Taylor.
So those are our ways for improving gigs… especially Taylor Swift gigs… she should have really let us backstage.
