Oxegen was like a rite of passage for teenagers in Ireland as it was usually the first festival experience for people that age.
The festival was last held in 2013 and it was a bit of a disaster with bad weather and small crowds combining to make an underwhelming weekend.
It was cancelled last year and we didn’t think it was going ahead this year until we saw this photo being shared on Facebook.
The Prodigy, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Aviici, Linkin Park, Arctic Monkeys, Blink 182, Tinie Tempah and The Strokes. That’s eight potential headliners and Tinie Tempah (sorry, Tinie).
It’s seems to good to be true, right? That’s because the page is a fake.
It’s pretty clear to us, but a lot of people didn’t quite catch on as the number of competition entrants here shows.
