The new album from Foals might have been out for a few months already, but it’s a bit of a cracker, and well worth a download.
You’ll definitely know the song ‘My Number’, which is an infectious single that has been all over the airwaves recently. You’ll be singing it all day, as well as tapping your foot along to it in no time.
The sound is bigger and more atmospheric than their last effort in 2010, and the track ‘Inhaler’ characterises that pretty well, giving a much heavier edge to the band. It’s not often that we can find an album that doesn’t have a track we want to skip on it, but this is one.
The lads will be playing the Longitude festival in Marlay Park too, so if you’re headed there it’s a great idea to get familiar with the new album beforehand.
