Get on your dancing shoes.
The Arctic Monkeys’ sixth album, Tranquility Based Hotel & Casino, is almost upon us and that news definitely has quite a few folk excited beyond words.
In fact, you may be so pumped for the 11 May release date that spinning the album in your bedroom, or on a pair of headphones might not be enough. Some people will need to spend their pent-up energy by going ape on a dancefloor, and if that’s something you need to do, then there is more good news.
Fuzzed Up Indie Club in Swords, Dublin will be celebrating the release of the album by throwing a listening party on the day of its release.
Starting at 7pm, at which time Tranquility Based Hotel & Casino will be played in its entirety, the night also promises an Arctic Monkeys-inspired set from the club’s regular DJ’s Andy Marke and Dave Rigney.
The club has also promised to give away a few copies of the album for free, so really there’s no excuse not to go and dance like a robot from 1984.
