Some big hitters here.
The Comedy Stage at Electric Picnic is always one of the most popular locations during the music festival and this year will undoubtedly be wedged because there are some some great names on the billing.
Dylan Moran will be making a very welcome return this year, his set in 2013 was very memorable and EP fans will also be delighted to see David O’Doherty’s return.

Fresh from his recent and hugely popular Irish tour, US comic Reginald D Hunter also joins the top rank of stand-up comedians in Laois while Al Porter is set to bring the house down with his unique mix of manic energy and flamboyant stage presence.
We’re delighted to say that Blind Boy Boat Club and Mr Chrome, aka The Rubberbandits, will also be in Stradbally and they’re certain to be huge favourites due to their superb mix of surreal comedy with cutting edge social commentary.

Other acts that will be gracing the comedy stage include Abandoman, Aisling Bea, Colin Murphy, The Lords Of Strut, Gearoid Farrelly, Chris Kent, Damian Clark, Dublin Comedy Improv, Danny O’Brien, Colm Tyrell, Ashlee Bentley, Fred Cooke, John Colleary, Joe Rooney, Patrick McDonnell, Kevin Gildea, Ian Coppinger, Karl Spain and Andrew Stanley.
One final shout-out goes to JOE’s own resident comedian, the wonderfully gifted and hilarious Eric Lalor. Don’t miss him!

The comedy tent runs from 1.30pm to 9pm on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th September.
