Flume
He’s one of the biggest acts in Australia, he nearly blew the roof off a tent at Longitude last summer and he’s going to do the same this weekend. Fitness levels need to be high because you will be dancing. A lot.
Jungle
The most hyped group in a long time. This will be our first time seeing Jungle live and if reports are anything to go by, it’s going to be an absolute cracking gig. See them now because next time you mightn’t be able to get into the tent.
Nick Mulvey
The English singer songwriter is tipped to be one of the breakout stars of the next 12 months. He plays at the Electric Arena at 1.45pm on Sunday and we guarantee that he’ll ease the fear with his lovely lyrics and music.
Wolf Alice
The London band have released two EPs to date and both are outstanding catching indie-pop/rock. We genuinely believe they could be one of the big surprises over the weekend. Make sure you don’t miss them.
Jenny Lewis
Jenny Lewis is hardly an under the radar artist as she’s been doing her thing for 15 years with Rilo Kiley and as a solo artist. The reason we want you to see her is because her latest solo release ‘The Voyager’ is easily one of the records of 2014. The tent will be packed and it will be awesome.
Glass Animals
Body & Soul is somewhere you’ll find plenty of JOE heads over the weekend and we’re nailed on to be there for Glass Animals. Their music has been described as psychedelic-pop and trip-hop and if that doesn’t entice you, their single ‘Pools’ will…
Laura Mvula
One of the best vocalists on the line-up this weekend in Stradbally is undoubtedly Laura Mvula. Her album ‘Sing to the Moon’ was released last year to critical acclaim and her live performance is top class.
