EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: Christy Moore’s new song Oblivious

Carl Kinsella

A man who needs no introduction.

Christy Moore’s new album Lily is out this Friday, May 20, and the folk music legend has shared a live performance of one of his new tracks with us here at JOE.ie.

The song, entitled Oblivious, is taken from the upcoming DVD Journey, which was produced by Dara Jauch and directed by Mark McLoughlin.

Moore, now 71, delivers a majestic performance of the tune, originally written by Leitrim’s Mick Blake – a song about the cracks and flaws in our political system. Worth more than one listen.
