Just a heads-up for you guys.

There are two mega days of music in Marlay Park this weekend.

Avicii, Rudimental, Clean Bandit and The Dead Prezidents play on Friday, while Paolo Nutini, Imelda May, Alabama Shakes and Gaz Coombes play on Saturday.

Here’s the travel information the promoters of the gig MCD want you to know:

Transport

There’s a shuttle bus going directly to the venue from George’s Quay. Price for the Shuttle are €10 when booked online up to 10:00 on the morning of the concert. Walk up on the day €15.

Dublin Bus routes serve the Grange Road entrances of Marlay Park in close proximity to the concert site:

16 – Airport / O’Connell Street to Grange Road
116 – Burlington Road to Grange Road
161 – Dundrum Road Luas Station to Grange Road

The closest Luas stop to Marlay Park is Balally or Dundrum, both are about a 30 minute walk from the front gate.

People are advised not to drive to the venue and to avail of public transport, but if you insist on taking the car, here are the best routes.

From Dublin City Centre – via Ranelagh, Clonskeagh, Goatstown, and Sandyford, Grange Road and then onto College Road for car-parks.

From M50 – Exit the M50 at junction 12 interchange, signposted R823 Ballyboden. Follow Scholarstown Road, Taylors Lane, turn right onto Whitechurch Road and then left onto College Road. Entrance to the car-parks is off College Road.
