Truly awful news.
All four members of Warrington-based band Viola Beach are dead after the vehicle they were travelling through Sweden in careened off a highway bridge into the canal below.
The young men, who were embarking on their first international tour, were Kris Leonard, River Reeves, Tomas Lowe and Jack Dakin.
They played a gig in The Academy in Dublin just 10 days ago.
Tributes have poured in for the young men, who had only just begun their music careers.

The news about Viola Beach is just too sad for words. We're speechless. May they rest in peace.

Really awful news about @Viola_Beach – thinking of all the bands who travel 1000s of miles by road every year. https://t.co/GGw9JBm3Wo
