The Cork indie legends are back.
We are massive fans of cult indie band, The Frank and Walters. Never fail to release anything that isn’t catchy as hell and this is no different.
It’s a beautiful song with a great video to accompany it shot in Athens. It’s a song which has some underlying political currents that reflect recent times in Europe and further afield.
Taken from their critically acclaimed album ‘Songs for the Walking Wounded’, ‘Goddessof Athena’ juxtaposes elements of crumbling Western society with more personal themes, all the while comparing it to a Greek tragedy being played out on the largest stage.
